1974 Mar	Seikyo Time Co., Ltd. was established in Taoyuan, mainly focusing on watch manufacturing and assembly.
1984 Apr	"Taoyuan Watch Co., Ltd." was established, with the main business of assembling SEIKO and ALBA watches.
1985 Nov	Due to advances in science and technology, the assembly of the movement had become fully automated, so "Seikyo Time Co., Ltd." was closed down.
1986 Dec	Diversified management began to sell optical parts, optical equipment, semiconductors, printers and other products, and changed its name to Seiko Instruments Taiwan Inc.(SIC)
1995 Apr	Changed Seiko instruments Taiwan inc. to become a 100% fully owned subsidiary of SII.
1998 Mar	In response to the expansion of semiconductor requirements, the company increased its capital and established a market planning department.
2002 Aug	Established the IPO Business Development Department to provide high-quality and low-cost parts for the SII Display Division.
2004 Mar	The Taoyuan Watch Assembly Factory was closed, and SII officially became a major business project in Taiwan for the sales and purchase of electronic components.
2018 May	SII sold the Semiconductor Division, SIC today mainly provides micro battery ,quartz crystal and thermal printer.
